Students with Special Education Needs

This section presents recommendations to be adopted in distance learning for students with special educational needs (SSEN). The information on the microsite does not replace reading the following documents:

Students with Special Educational Needs are considered:

  • Students with disabilities or disabilities considered in medical terms as organic disorders, due to organic pathologies, for example, associated with sensory, motor or neurological disabilities.
  • Students with behavioural or emotional disorders or with specific learning difficulties.

The SSEN status is registered in the Graduate Area (AG) and Taguspark Academic and Human Resources (AGRHAT), for the 1st and 2nd cycle students and for integrated master’s degrees.

The status is automatically available in fénix. Where?

In the separator “TEACHER -> SUBJECTS TAUGHT -> CHOOSE DISCIPLINE -> STUDENTS -> OPTIONS – STATUTES COLUMN”

Contacts:

Alameda: Lídia Silva

Taguspark: Carla Costa

NAPE and NAPE-TP  centralize these requests (in particular, NAPE-TP monitors, supports and interacts directly with the Faculty). The Graduate Area (Alameda) monitors, supports and interacts directly with the Faculty, forwarding to the NDA the situations in which more regular monitoring is justified, or the assignment of a tutor.
